To ensure that the maximum amount of funds is sent directly to the field, all foreign staff are volunteers who live off of other employment or support from other friends, family, or organizations. The staff in South Korea consists of the Director and an Administrative Assistant who are responsible for fundraising and delivering donations. The staff in China consists of the Manager with his assistants and several ethnic-Korean Chinese baking students who are trained and sent in to North Korea to work at the bakery. The staff in North Korea consists of two ethnic-Korean Chinese, who supervise and oversee all of the bakery's operations, and a staff of North Korean women who do the baking.
